Tag 48: Stossfaenger vorn, Elektrik, Tank, Heckdeckel

Zunaechst mal: Sorry... ich hab die Kamera im Ovali liegen gelassen. Also nur wenige Handyfotos diesmal :(
Zum Projekt: Wir haben einiges geschafft heute... es wird so langsam.

- Stossfaenger bei Matthias abgeholt und montiert
- Fernscheinwerfer montiert, Standlicht instandgesetzt
- Leuchtmittel hinten gegen neue getauscht, Kontakte gereinigt
- Blinker vorn montiert
- Tankverschluss: Deckel gefertigt (Danke dafuer, Carsten, und entschuldige bitte, dass der dann doch nicht Verwendung fand)... ein riesengrosses DANKE an Axel Wichmann, der den korrekten Verschluss von einem Sparkaefer noch liegen hatte und uns sogar noch vorbeibrachte.
- Batteriespannband gebaut
- unnoetige Leitungen im ehemaligen Motorraum gesichert
- seitliche Motorraumabschlussbleche montiert
- Lufteinlassgitter im Motorraum verschraubt
- Heckdeckel montiert

Day 48: Front bumpers, electrics, tank, rear lid

First of all: Sorry, I left the camera in the 57, so there are only a few photos shot with the mobile phone this time. :(
About the project: We did manage a whole lot today, slowly we're getting there.

- Bumpers collected from Matthias and fitted
- High-beam headlights fitted, parking lights fixed
- Rear bulbs exchanged, cleaned contacts
- Front indicator fitted
- Fuel cover: Made a cap (Thanks for that, Carsten, and sorry that it didn't get used after all)...
A huge THANKS to Axel Wichmann, who had the proper one from a standard beetle lying about and even brought it around to us.
- Battery straps made
- Secured redundant cables in the former engine compartment
- Lateral end plates of the engine compartment fitted
- Air grill at engine compartment bolted
- Rear lid mounted
